The Weekly Review: Up?

The USD pairs all went up after news from the US side. AUDUSD continues its strong state. USDJPY seems weak and still stuck in a consolidation.

EURJPY is cautiously moving higher.

US Stocks

As mentioned previously, Dow Jones Index is in a big consolidation.

Hong Kong Stocks

Watch for Hang Seng Index and China Index (Not SG China stocks). I'm seeing a potential bull coming up.

Singapore Stocks

STI is playing cautious. But a potential bull in the making?

The Weekly Review: Strong Rebound!

EURUSD turned into a weakness and now in the middle consolidation. Aussie is strong in here as there seemed to be more room to go. USDJPY bouncing back in the consolidation. Will it break up?

While EURUSD is weak, EURJPY is strong. In fact all JPY crosses are strong with the exception of GBPJPY. Biggest winners were EURJPY and AUDJPY.

US Stocks

The Dow Jones Index staged a strong rebound after the Fed Minutes. While you were worrying about the US shutdown and dumping your stocks, the big boys were constantly buying up. Hence the result of a strong rebound!

Apple in a consolidation.

Hong Kong Stocks

Hang Seng Index is now in a consolidation range. China's trade balance is just up with worse than expected results of 15.2B instead of forecast of 25.2B. So how will the market will turn up? Down?

Singapore Stocks

Straits Times Index had a strong rebound also. Friday was a down day as people took their profits.

Noble Group had a breakout after a consolidation. The big boys started buying already at the consolidation phase at around 0.80 and if you spotted their buying you are now in big profit!

Wilmar in a certain consolidation also. Look out for it.

Gold

Gold continues to slide. How low will it slide? Good to be short Gold. Just beware of sharp stop hunt by insidious big boys.

The Weekly Review: Rebound of Dow Jones

EURUSD ended with a damper on Friday. Is it a correction? AUDUSD seems to consolidate but looking strong while USDJPY still stuck in consolidation.

US Stocks

Dow Jones Index rallied on Friday (could be just a short covering). Based on my chart, there is still some more to go before reaching its support. So watch for it next week.

Hong Kong Stocks
Hang Seng Index has a bit of jumpy mood. Where is it heading? Currently it looks like it's in a downward bias.

Singapore Stocks
Seems like Capitaland is continuing the selldown from its consolidation last week.

Has Noble Group finished its accumulation and pushing to new highs?

Friday was a historical day for penny stocks as something big happened. 3 stocks were suspended for their sudden big fall in value after a such a big run up. One of them is Blumont, which I believe alot of punters were punting. And I guess its because of recent popularity of punting penny stocks in Singapore has caused an excessive push in value. And given high manipulative nature of these penny stocks, fall will ensure to trap retail investors. But to this magnitude, its the biggest I have ever seen! I believe many poor retailers were burnt very badly and worst if they were in contra. This is just scary.

The Weekly Review

This week the EURUSD had an indecision week ending in a doji. AUDUSD went down after that pinbar while the USDJPY slumped. What will happen next?

US Stocks

Dow Jones index has fallen to 50% of its rally. Will it continue to fall or bounce back up? Could be a chance that it will continue downwards as it looks like going for a big consolidation.

Singapore Stocks

Many good blue chips are undergoing a consolidation as it waited for more direction. One of them is Noble Group, after a huge rally, its now consolidating. So are the BBs accumulating or they are actually dumping stocks to the retailers?

The same goes for property developers like Capitaland and Kepland. We shall see how it move next!

The Weekly Review: USD Gains Strength

This week ended with the EUR/USD in a long fall while EUR/JPY kept strength. The AUD/USD continues its fall this week, probably falling further.
USD/JPY gained huge strength this week after Ben Bernanke's talk on tapering off Bond purchases. Currently it hits its resistance so will it break up and continue its rally now that interest rates are set to rise soon?

US Stocks

Dow Jones Index reached its another support.

Apple did not manage to gain strength and continues down.

Singapore Stocks

Seems like Singapore stocks still continues with its second wave of selling. Or is it the last wave?

STI recovered strength on Friday. Covering shorts?

REITS continued its selling.

Commodities

Gold continued its fall further as USD gained strength and investors bailed out.

The Weekly Review: Start of the Correction or Crash?

AUD/USD continues its weakness but slowing down on reaching support. EUR/USD bounced from its bearish state and reverses upwards as USD continues to weaken. EUR/JPY slowly moving down as JPY gains strength.
JPY crosses are slowly moving down as the JPY strengthens up. Will see more movement down from JPY crosses especially from USD/JPY and AUD/JPY.

US Stocks
Stocks are pushing down on the Friday. Notice there was a double top.

Totally missed out this great short. Weeks of bulls wiped out within 3 days.

Singapore Stocks
This reminded me of my previous post on the "The REITS Bubble". Panic sell in just a week.

Dividend stocks like StarHub are taking huge hits.

The Weekly Review

Extremely volatile week again, Eur/usd looks for a bearish turn while the Yen is pushing the Euro up. Aud/usd had a nice drop following that large pinbar. We shall see the new week if Aud/usd will breakdown or again push up which is very frustrating for trend traders. Eur/Jpy will be tricky also esp when there is the pinbar but sentiment is still bullish.

Commodities

Gold has given a dramatic plunge (Hurray for gold bears!) Now it has hit the fibonacci support at 38.2% forming a pinbar. Buyers came in to buy physical gold when news reported of gold becoming cheap. This comes to mind, are we looking at a correction or the masses are just chasing fool's gold?

The Weekly Review

Friday ended with some big movements. EUR/USD seems to have touched its weekly resistance while EUR/JPY had some pullback. On the weekly, EUR/JPY seems to have another potential of moving further up. AUD/USD will probably still in a limbo. We will see how will they unfold in the coming weeks.

US Stocks

Dow Jones Index continues its rally.

Singapore Stocks

Potential further upside for Kepland?

Mapletree Logistics is still rallying at a crazy rate.

Commodities

What made Friday the hottest topic that every trader was talking about was the price of gold. Gold was hovering on its support till probably some big bank sold big amounts of gold causing the breakout of its strong support. Gold might rebound and test it's new resistance. If it fails to break up, then I guess gold value will continue to fall and normalize, in the worst case senario at $1000.
