Capitaland: Explosive Movement
Wanna talk about Capitaland, as I have been waiting to see if something is happening. I chanced upon looking at the chart and seeing some accumulation going on as somehow I had a gut feeling that something is amiss with the property sector. Indeed the BBs had pressed the button later and pushed the property sector price within one day (other property stocks like UOL and Kepland was rocketing too). Will this stock continue to move up further? I think it will but given the deep correction by the US market has dampened the momentum of Singapore stocks, it might just hover around until release of earnings by Capitaland but beware of tricks by the BB!

STATS ChipPAC: Taking Profit After a Long Wait
Profited from this stock STATS ChipPAC with a small profit. It was actually a stock meant for punting. I bought this stock at $0.465 in January 2014 seeing a breakout after it bounces twice from the low. It did move up but not much and came down again making a paper loss. As it was just a small punt, I left it there to run as there might be a second run. Indeed, after 6 months, something was brewing for this stock and later it shot up high. I unloaded at 0.635 after sensing the Big Boys have finished unloading their stocks. Shy of the high but it was a reasonable TP price for me to sell. Sold immediately and the next day came the trading halt and fall of price! A small profit of 36.6% for kopi.

The Weekly Review
First day of 2014, Dow Jones Index fell. Doesn't seem like an easy year to be bullish.
Hang Seng is quite stuck at the moment with no clear indication of a trend
STI blew a big bear candle on the 2nd day of trading. Singapore stocks are all very depressed compared with the bullish DOW during Christmas week.

Hang Seng as volatile with no clear direction.
Is the STI trying to find a bottom?
Yangzijiang trying to find a support. But maybe more downside to come.
Capitaland has been very weird and interesting for the past few months. Shall accumulate every low.

The Weekly Review: Strong Rebound!
While EURUSD is weak, EURJPY is strong. In fact all JPY crosses are strong with the exception of GBPJPY. Biggest winners were EURJPY and AUDJPY.
US Stocks
The Dow Jones Index staged a strong rebound after the Fed Minutes. While you were worrying about the US shutdown and dumping your stocks, the big boys were constantly buying up. Hence the result of a strong rebound!
Apple in a consolidation.
Hong Kong Stocks
Hang Seng Index is now in a consolidation range. China's trade balance is just up with worse than expected results of 15.2B instead of forecast of 25.2B. So how will the market will turn up? Down?Singapore Stocks
Straits Times Index had a strong rebound also. Friday was a down day as people took their profits.Noble Group had a breakout after a consolidation. The big boys started buying already at the consolidation phase at around 0.80 and if you spotted their buying you are now in big profit!
Wilmar in a certain consolidation also. Look out for it.
Gold
Gold continues to slide. How low will it slide? Good to be short Gold. Just beware of sharp stop hunt by insidious big boys.
